Catherine is an executive with a broad network and contemporary knowledge of Canadian ethnic communities and media organizations. She is an established and highly respected event organizer and media-relations specialist.

She is recognized as an outstanding conduit in cultural exchanges and an expert in quality translations between English and Chinese. As well, she has superb people management skills, and is adept at conflict resolution and cross-culture communications.

Catherine started her award-winning journalism career at the State News agency in China before moving to the information technology sector, where she was marketing manager for Q-Free ASA, a major European hi-tech company.

After immigrating to Canada in 2003, she co-founded a profitable Chinese community newspaper in Toronto. She went on to work for the federal government in Ottawa as a national communications strategist, specializing in ethnic media and community outreach.

Since then, Catherine has distinguished herself in both communications and marketing, where she invariably delivers strong business and communications results.
